witness testimony - everything i can recall from watching LSM many years ago.
hello. long intro, sorry, i know everyone here is heavy skeptics after a bunch of bullshit stories from people that’ve been “researching” LSM for like 5 seconds, so i wanted to give an intro. huge giant font timestamp for actual vid details if you don’t GAF.
I have been touring this sub for the past 12 hours (i have no life), and I can confidently say, after researching as much as i can, I’ve seen LSM. during my research lately, I have even searched the dark and deep web to no avail, I am getting pissed that we can’t find it. I always want to find something if i remember it but cant find it, this is no different. no video i saw matched what was in my head, and saw other testimony which confirmed my visuals of the video in my head, I am not alone in what I saw obviously! Additionally, the blender recreation (top post of all time here if you wanna check it) is eerily similar to how i remember, just obviously with doodoo VHS filters and a wrong color look overall, the angles are a bit off but also overall faithful.
I was not aware the video I watched all those years ago is now lost media. hence my sudden spike in activity here. I am a history preservationist (for oldschool japanese car shit) so I took a lot of interest in fellow historian’s attempt. I am just giving my two-cents to see if anyone remembers the same as me. I tried my best to string together what I remember. I have gone through both google documents and I can 100% say i am NOT mixing the videos up with that chinese tourist video, that video has a similar color palette, but some differences which i’ll talk about.
Lastly, I was very young when i watched this video which may discredit my story entirely to some people, and that’s fine, I can’t recall much of anything from ages 1-17 besides shock videos/gore, bad dreams/nightmares, or of course horrible/regrettable IRL accidents, so I know for a fact what is in my head is what i saw.
I have pretty selective memory but i made sure i am not just misremembering something and blatantly spewing it online, if i watched another video by mistake, i’d have done my research and kept quiet.

I watched this video in early-mid 2008, it was on YouTube but NOT the original video that was uploaded in 2006. People who say the video was gone by 2008 are misremembering or flat-out lying, i am confident in that statement. A lot of 9/11 jumper footage was being reuploaded by people around 2007-2009 from what my friend (in his 30s) told me, that was what I remembered too, you didn’t have to go out of your way to find it like we’re doing now. I imagine this was also the case for gore/shock websites, i was not on them so I can’t speak on anything about it.
My best guess is the video was 240p. the video was not watermarked either like some people said. The color palette of the video leads me to believe the VHS tape was somehow damaged or cheap as hell, either that or the dude’s camera was garbage. In my head I remember the ground was a blinding white/slight yellow, the greys were yellowed, and the grass/vegetation was blown out green. The video was shot in the plaza thing, idk the name… courtyard?
the cameraman was initially walking from the side of the north tower down into the center of the courtyard, he panned the camera up a bit, not into the sky, but just showing the tridents of the tower. he panned the camera back down and stood there in silence, i vaguely recall a voice calling the cameraman to move or get over here, i’m not sure on that part, i was extremely young and obviously wasn’t a fluent speaker.
the first body came down, splat. the cameraman recoils a bit, panning the camera up in what i assume is him regripping it. zooms in on the body slightly, and then i believe a few seconds later, two more bodies come down in quick succession, that is the most shocking part of the video. i couldnt tell you if it was 30 seconds, 50 seconds, or a minute longer in total. I wasn’t paying attention. I know a lot of the video was the cameraman just kinda aimlessly standing there getting b-roll. the video did have a quick fade in, most likely edited in as someone else has previously claimed, i remember that. Beyond the two bodies hitting, my mind isn’t giving me anything else, i’m honestly shocked I can reach this far back into my brain’s memories to begin with.
as for the tourist video, no I am not mixing it up. the tourist video is entirely different to LSM, it looks nothing alike from what I remember, besides the color palette. LSM was shot with an eerie silence besides the debris/bodies falling, the faint music, and the sounds of the camera moving, as well as feet shuffling. the tourist video was full of external sound, also there is way more greenery/vegetation in the tourist video than there was in LSM, LSM just had a shrub If i can recall right.

The video looks significantly more worse than i remember. the colors are also darker which leads me to believe it’s a different camera or vastly different recording settings. The tape itself looks beat up. however the color palette is EXACTLY as i remember. The yellows, the green, the blinding white pole/pavement color that is over-exposed.
The video title is something I am really struggling to remember, I was so young. It was definitely not LOL superman, I don’t want to give out BS information. I feel like the “WTC jumper” title is the closest, or maybe it was shit like “superman WTC” or “superman 9/11”, “bodies arent steel WTC jumper”, i don’t know, I don’t know an actual title. Don’t quote me on that. it probably doesn’t even matter seeing as it was a reupload lol.
I think that’s all i can recall, as the years go on my memory will only get worse and worse, so I felt a sense of urgency to share it. what encouraged me to post this is people saying it doesn’t exist, or it’s people with bad memory. Maybe in other cases yeah, but I remember this vividly, I only remember traumatic shit from my childhood as i said in the intro, this is one of them. I know my childhood friend also watched this video was he was a few years older than me and often was around me, I will see if I can get his testimony if anyone here actually gives a fuck, if so let me know.
