Sodapopkid and lolsuperman

Regarding this: https://youtube.com/watch?v=bxofF7loALw&…KlWo4fn4y9

I’ve seen lol superman. I still have the video on an ancient mobile phone somewhere. It’s a first person view looking up and you can see people hitting the awning of the tower. Then you see a single man hit the floor and he bounces. Then it briefly shows the smashed up person.

He’s either lying or mistaken. There is no way lolsuperman would exist on a phone. Smartphones became widely used by the early 2010s, but lolsuperman vanished around 2006, so a 4-6 year gap. This would mean lolsuperman existed around 2010-2015, which goes against all the other testimonies. Likely he has a copy of some other newer footage that is easily confused for lolsuperman. I think he’s possibly referring to the Naudet footage, because that was recorded at one of the lobbies, and although jumpers are not shown impacting, they are heard falling on the awning of the lobby.

Do you have any sources that LSM disappeared off of the face of the earth in exactly 2006? I got the impression it disappeared a little bit later. In like..you know, the late 2000’s to 2010’s. Even if they’re mistaken, Unless you have sources that it vanished off of the face of the earth in 2006 and wasn’t making the rounds for a few years afterwards, I’ll have to debate you on this one. Especially considering the first iPhone as we know them was released a year later and blackberries already existed. Abnormal media is frequently found in abnormal circumstances.

I think 2006 overly optimistic and it’s more like 2002-2004. I am basing this on archives of Google Groups and other discussions that mention videos of people impacting. Similar to how most Bitcoin wallets of coins mined in 2009-2010 have been lost to time, the same may be true for LSM. Had it existed in 2006 it would have been saved to youtube and other sites and likely re-uploaded in perpetuity .

Two major questions, I have yet to get a definitive answer, and may not have an answer:

Did Jack and Guy Rosbrook record the jumpers hitting the pavement? Did they turn off their cameras as jumpers landed, versus the footage being edited? I have read differing accounts on this regarding the timestamps of the recording. One account I read is that they turned in the footage to the FBI, and the splatter footage was edited out, leaving what is left.

It’s been two weeks and still no update?

Sadly still no update, I have to assume this person has a life outside of 9/11 and finding his old phone with the footage may not be a high priority for him at the moment.

Tbh this is valid. Digging up and turning on an old phone is a process. Someone of such age to have LSM downloaded on their old phone probably has a lot more going on in their life outside of a 9/11 video they downloaded 15+ years ago. I’d say leave this lead on the burner and give it some time to simmer.
