Today we’re publishing P.I.R.A.N.H.A. II (The PENTTBOMB Initiative for the Restoration and Advancement of Narrative History Archives), an updated strategic doctrine outlining the long-term direction of PENTTBOMB, Lost911Media, the 9/11 Library, and affiliated archival projects.
This document is not a statement that any particular claim, theory, or lead is true.
Instead, it establishes a framework for how we approach:
• Digital preservation
• Lost media research
• Evidence handling and verification
• FOIA and public-records efforts
• Community governance
• Long-term archival stewardship
Over the past few years our community has grown beyond individual searches, rumors, and discoveries. As websites disappear, videos are deleted, and historical material becomes harder to locate, we believe preservation and documentation are becoming increasingly important.
PIRANHA II is intended to serve as a reference point for how we approach research going forward and how we hope to preserve both historical records and the history of the search itself.
