Despite years of investigation, no verifiable evidence of the video’s existence has surfaced. However, no concrete evidence suggests it does not exist either, leaving us in a state of limbo regarding its verification.

What is LOL SUPERMAN?

Origins of the Name:
The term "LOL SUPERMAN" originates from a purported comment made by the cameraman of the alleged video. As the story goes, the person filming humorously or sarcastically exclaimed "LOL, Superman!" while capturing individuals jumping or falling from the upper floors of the Twin Towers. This offhand remark gave the video its title within the online community.
Content Description:
Anecdotal accounts describe the video as filmed near the base of the Twin Towers, potentially around WTC 5 and overlooking the plaza area. It allegedly depicts jumpers hitting the pavement close to the cameraman, with reports suggesting impacts occurred as near as 50 feet away. The graphic and distressing nature of the footage has fueled both its controversy and mystique.
First Mentions:
"LOL SUPERMAN" was first mentioned around 2015 on 4chan’s /x/ (Paranormal) board. An anonymous user claimed to have seen the video on YouTube in its early years, sparking widespread curiosity within the lost media community.

Welcome! Glad to see you here

I remember my freshman year of college fall of 2012 my history prof and me were having a discussion about 9/11, after a while we got onto some of the darker parts of what happened that day, out of nowhere he locks the door and pulls out a big old school box tv (think early 2000s 40 ish inch with an attached VHS/DVD player on a rolling cart) he unlocked the bottom drawer of his desk and popped in a vhs tape and says “watch this” this is the first time I ever saw the video that has become known as lolsuperman, I don’t know where he got the video but I know he was born and raised in Yonkers and had friends and family there who worked for some New York tv station (no idea which one) this was not on the Internet this was an old school VHS tape and it was a lot to take in as a 19 year old college freshman, long story short i know for a fact that there are hard copies of lol superman out there, prof died a couple years back and I tried contacting his niece to ask about that tape but I never heard back, has anyone else come across lolsuperman that wasnt online?? cuz I think that is the best chance we have of finding it again is to find the hard copy of the VHS tape like prof had, I remember there were either two or three impacts in rather rapid succession then what looked like a camera cut off and when the VHS came back from being shut off the next filmed scene was near some stairs that looked like they had blood or some reddish like substance oozing down and a page from the New York times blowing down the stairs towards the cameraman then like 10 seconds later you can hear a VERY loud bang that sounds like whatever it was landed within feet of the cameraman and then what sounds like two women and a man screaming for a paramedic, I never hear about the scenes following the camera cut off when it gets turned back on in any forums or in reddit, has anyone else seen this tape (and before anyone asks yes I’m 100000% sure the video was from 9/11 and it is exactly like the video everyone describes as being lolsuperman but no muzak is heard (I think people confuse talercio footage with the lolsuperman film and put the muzak from jacks footage into lol superman but there was no muzak in the video I saw .just loud thuds and what might be a falling person screaming or someone from a distance screaming as they watch the person impact, anyway would love to hear anyone’s story on the topic
