Nano-Thermite in the WTC Dust: Scientific Evidence That Demands Answers

Hey everyone,

I want to share some critical information that I believe deserves far more attention when discussing what really happened on 9/11. This isn’t speculation—it’s rooted in physical, peer-reviewed scientific evidence: the confirmed presence of nano-thermite in the World Trade Center dust.

What Was Found

In 2009, a team of scientists including Dr. Niels Harrit, Steven Jones, Jeffrey Farrer, and others published a peer-reviewed paper in The Open Chemical Physics Journal titled:
“Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe.”

They studied dust samples collected from various locations in Lower Manhattan shortly after the towers collapsed. Within these samples, they found consistent traces of red-gray chips. Under microscopic and chemical analysis, these chips were shown to contain aluminum nanoparticles and iron oxide particles—the exact components needed for a thermitic reaction.

When ignited in a controlled environment, the chips produced an intense exothermic reaction and left behind iron-rich microspheres—a signature byproduct of a thermite reaction, confirming that extremely high temperatures were involved.

What Is Nano-Thermite?

Nano-thermite is an advanced, engineered form of traditional thermite. While conventional thermite is a mixture of aluminum and iron oxide used in welding or metal cutting, nano-thermite is developed at the nanometer scale—meaning each particle is measured in billionths of a meter, drastically increasing the surface area and reaction speed.

This allows it to behave not just as an incendiary but potentially as an explosive. The energy release is faster, more intense, and far more efficient than conventional thermite.

But here’s the key point: nano-thermite isn’t made in hardware stores or hobbyist sheds. It requires precision equipment, military-grade materials, and specialized knowledge of energetic nanocomposites. Its manufacture and use are typically confined to military labs, defense contractors, or government-classified facilities.

Why It Matters

There is no plausible explanation for why military-grade nano-thermite would be embedded in the dust from the World Trade Center—unless it was intentionally placed there. No mention of this material exists in the official NIST investigation. It was not part of the construction. It could not have been formed by the heat or friction of a collapsing building.

And yet it was there.

The Logical Conclusion

Once you understand that nano-thermite cannot be produced or deployed without access to restricted materials and classified facilities, you must face an uncomfortable conclusion:
This did not come from a group of men in caves. It did not come from al-Qaeda. And it did not happen by accident.

Once you conclude that the presence of nano-thermite is real, unexplained, and unaccounted for in the official narrative—then by definition, there had to be a conspiracy.
